Local communities across New York have received significant direct and indirect economic benefits from the State Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) including $7 billion in total investment, 42,300 construction jobs and 15,000 direct permanent jobs (21,300 direct and indirect) – much of it during one of the worst real estate recessions in recent history.
